USAAA Appoints Jerry Kartzinel, MD to
Scientific Advisory Board
US Autism and Asperger Association today appointed Jerry Kartzinel, MD, FAAP to the Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Kartzinel is a Board Certified pediatrician and a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. He specializes in neurodevelopmental and chronic inflammatory diseases in children. His practice is Pediatric Partners of Ponte Vedra and is located in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

After receiving his medical degree at St Louis University School of Medicine, he completed his residency in pediatric medicine in the Air Force. Following Desert Storm, Dr Kartzinel practiced general pediatrics in private practice for ten years until his fourth boy was diagnosed with autism.
A nationally recognized speaker on children’s health issues, Dr. Kartzinel has presented medical interventions that work to improve the lives of children who suffer from many types of medical conditions that include: autism, allergies, inflammatory bowel disease, chronic constipation, chronic diarrhea, and sleep cycle disruptions. He regularly teaches continuing medical education courses on children’s health issues to physicians and other health professionals.
His clinical approach is to treat the whole child by carefully obtaining a full and complete history and based on this history, obtaining very detailed laboratory evaluations. Based on these results, individualized plans are implemented integrating the very latest medical interventions that include both traditional and complimentary medicine approaches.

Dr. Kartzinel has presented at many autism conferences over the last seven years including the last two USAAA conferences in Denver and Orlando.
Dr. Kartzinel is on staff at Pediatric Partners in Ponte Verde Beach, Florida. He is Board-Certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Kartzinel received his Medical Doctorate at St. Louis University School of Medicine. He is the Co-Founder of the International Autism Research Center, located in Central Florida. He is well recognized for his pioneering and innovative approaches in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Dr. Kartzinel’s practice is solely devoted to the research and treatment of autism and other neurodegenerative disorders. His approach includes a comprehensive history and physical exam, and laboratory investigations that seek to find what is biologically different in a child. Once found, he implements therapeutic interventions and monitors closely how they affect restoration of health and behaviors. He and his wife have 4 children.
